Hi, I'm Emma
(she/her)
As a former midwife and lactation consultant, I bring an in-depth and holistic understanding of the unique needs and challenges that individuals face during their pregnancy and postpartum journeys. As a mother myself, I understand the emotional and physical demands of motherhood and the untethering that can happen as we adjust to new identities, new roles, and new relationships. My approach is one based in compassion and empathy where we will work together to navigate this transformative time.
Emma is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Emma received her certification in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International in 2021.
Land Acknowledgement
I acknowledge that I live and work on the unceded territories stewarded for millenia by the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Huron-Wendat, and Mississaugas of the Credit Nations. This land is in the Dish with One Spoon Treaty area and adjacent to the Two Row Wampum agreement area. As a colonial settler, I understand our obligations to live in peace, harmony, and right relationship with the original caretakers of this land and all relatives, plant, animal, or element. I am committed to Restoration, Restitution, and Self-Determination for all nations.

I acknowledge and am committed to understanding the immense privileges that I have as a white cisgender woman. I will work continuously to learn about the ways these unearned advantages have shaped who I am, and to unlearn how these privileges have conditioned me to see the world and our society.
